As the world changes, we need new generations of scientists, technologists, engineers and mathematicians (STEM) to help develop and expand our future energy solutions, transport systems, infrastructure, technology, medical advances … the list goes on.
As part of our aim to inspire more tamariki into learning STEM subjects, we’re supporting STEM Wana Trustin the Western Bay of Plenty. The trust delivers programmes and initiatives to get kids and students excited, engaged and inspired about STEM.
Our sponsorship supports the delivery of the STEM in the Community programme, which takes activities and workshops directly to smaller rural and remote primary schools and communities, which might not otherwise have the opportunity.
STEM Wana Trust partners with experienced content providers to deliver project-based STEM learning for teachers, students and their whanau.
