First Aid Training 2022

Our sponsorship of the Riversdale Beach Surf Life Saving Club first aid training came in handy recently when a swimmer injured his neck while boogie boarding. The rescue came just two days after the lifeguard team completed a paralysis in the water training scenario. 

Over the last four years we’ve supported the club’s lifeguards to do their first aid training, and their skills go beyond rescuing people at sea. With the Wairarapa beach town a 45-minute drive away from Masterton, their skills are often called on in the event of an accident or medical event in the community.
